sometimes mc's should be shot

in general...i have nothing against mc's. especially those that mc for dnb cuz it's part of the dnb culture and it sounds good with the music. HOWEVER....i am sure some if not most of you have had a chance to hear ferry's right of way concert correct? (there may already be a thread about this somewhere...but i am too damn lazy to find it) anyway...where the fuck did they find that mc? he blatantly does not listen to trance just based on the crap that he spouts out. WTF is with "face down ass up this is how we like it"??!! the shit he says makes no sense whatsoever...and if u take that literally, everyone would be mooning ferry.

another time...i was back home clubbing on a dnb nite. being that it was a dnb nite...it was natural that there be an mc. BUT...imagine this...a chinese guy (i'm chink myself...so i'm not dissing anyone chinese out there) who 'no speak english good' is mcing...in english...it was like listening to some chinese takeaway store owner mcing...i almost died...if i had a gun...i would have shot him.

True.Thank god UK trance/HH/house clubs haven't taken to having MCs like in Holland.I D & T should sort it out - those announcements they have at Sensation etc when a new dj is about to start are also incredibly lame and cringeworthy.

Totally Agreed. Whilst i think the occaisional party-encouraging talk that comes out of his gob helps, like getting the crowd moving for a very long concert and the acknowledgements are fine, a lot of the dribble that comes out of him constantly constantly constantly really pisses me off. I mean the guy only shuts up for half hour at one point thru the entie set.

I kinda like the quirkiness of his super-cowboy accent to the lil nederlanders, that's kinda interesting, and the delay on the mic is nice in places, there are a couple of points in the set whee his voice carries off over the track like an g&d acapella does.

But fkin ell, can't somebody drug his fkin coffee dammit, if there's anybody in that concert that could do with going to sleep its that bastard.

MC's FUCKING DIE!! Its weird how the dutchies love MC's in there trance music. If club promoters started putting MC's on during dj's sets in the UK there would be an uproar

mcs n trance dont mix, everyone knows that

i mean i would of so stabbed that mc at the energy 2003 festival, he was just an extra cog, the sets played would of been better without that silly arsehole yellin out 'CAN U FEEL IT?!' 'LET ME HEAR SOME NOIZE'

if i was there i would of shouted out 'SHUT THE FUCK UP, U WANKSTAIN!'

but thats just me.

with drum n bass, its a different thing, but sometimes they still do get a bit annoying.
