Ok here is the deal with "The Zone". Underground club with a very sketchy crowd, lots of 300 pound shirtless steroid monkeys slappin each other on the ass, fucked up girls on G and other bathtub chemicals and the rudest bouncers in the city. From what ive said so far, sounds like the worst place on earth to party.....well, i havent got to the good stuff yet. You have djs in there (Addy, Deko-ze, Glasgow, to name a few) who seem to hit another level when spinning in this club. The music is as dirty and grimey as the actual club, and is so infectious that for the most part you lose yourself in the music and forget about your somewhat disgusting surroundings. Not everyone in the club is as i described though, ive met some of the coolest people in there who came for the same reason as i....the music. If you havent been, and have heard a lot of the nasty things floating around about this club, i recommend you going just once to check it out. Its just something youve got to experience....dancin your ass off at 2 in the afternoon watching NFL football to the dirtiest music on the planet.

The analogy of DJs taking things to another lvl @ the zone is bang on!
It's where many of the city's best, including Mark Oliver, Mark Scaife, Kenny Glaskow, Deko-ze, and Addy all have a Sunday residency.
And often they have the weekend's head-liners from special events playing as well. I remeber a recent set by Parks & Wilson @ System that was ok... but come Sunday night @ the zone, it was one of the dirtiest, hardest, most pounding sets I'd heard this year.
A place like Comfort Zone is an enviroment where the DJs know they can pretty much do anything, like break out an older track, knowing that the crowd is gonna go off.. (I'll never forget Scaife dropping Prodigy's Outer Space on my birthday a few years back).
Like any place, you need to feel comfortable, and making sure you have some like-minded people will ensure your time @ the Zone is memorable.
I used to go religously, but I've been too busy lately to bother.. mnust..go...soon...

I cant vote on this poll but id fall under the second category, but sometimes if im not out late saturday ill wake up and go Sunday afternoon for a while...
To clear up a few things, there isnt as much fucked up people as you think, most people there look sober or just mashed out.
The music kicks ass, I never used to like house, but that place is turning me into a house-head heh
