Next week its 80s theme.

Paulini hasnt made one major stuff up so far, who knows she could stuff up next Sunday, or pull out another OMG I DIE performance. Her performance of Tina Arena's Chains is class.

Cosima was great with Cold Chisel's When the War is Over. She ended two weeks in a row of disco diva songs.

Guy hammered John Farnham's Your the Voice, he didnt overpower the song with his cheesy predictable formula.

Millsy, Shannon & Levi were all below par and that was their first mediocre performance.

Next Sundays 80s theme is a tiny bit ridiculous because it gives another crackin opportunity for Shannon to choose and unleash Working Class Man, as he didnt sing it last week and he isnt gonna sing it this week either! If they ever get through to next week, here is what they should choose...

Power of love on the otherhand is a underrated striking ballad and I think Millsy has got what it takes to sing it brilliantly.

If Levi wants to work the crowd again, then this is the song for him. Keep in mind the huge majority of the audience would only remember CDB's cover of Lets Groove back in late 1995.

Xavier, didn't realise you were such a big fan of the idol!!!

I thought last nights episode was the shit, although it was disappointing to see Levi so soft (don't think he will take it well when he gets the arse) and to see Rebekkah go (much respect as her final performance rocked).

Personally I would love of loved to have seen Rebekkah win but since shes gone I think Cosima has the goods.

Oh yeah, Australian Idol has got better and better. The first few episdodes was shite now I understand why everybody loves it

i like Shanon ( I aint gay ) .. but he just looks heaps well suited as an entertainer, very natural and friendly. I defz think bek is better than milzy and should not have been voted off, she has a nice voice and shes cute too. Paulini and Cosima both have extremely good voices but I dont know so much about stage performance. All in all Shanon has my vote.

like the consensus, i thought rebekah should have stayed in. the first performance i saw of her was doing lauryn hill's - x factor, and that hit the spot. when a singer can do that to you, you know inevitably there's talent that cant be learnt right there.

honestly, i dont know why levi is still there. and kelly, tho she's out now. both of their vocal talents i find, are very limited. but then again, a great part of the show is judged upon public appeal. the mass being of the "teen" kind.

i think on the show, you really have to show the versatility of your voice. this doesnt necessarily mean floating to other genres. the only person who i think has successfully accomplished that is cosima. no to take any credit away from the others. espesh paulini and shannon who've really proven themselves.

I haven't watched any of it...but this 80s theme sounds promising! I'll start watching just to see them sing some of my favourite 80s classics
