**I use Mp3 cutter v2.0 - It is a very small application, works great, and you can download it on this site, I believe. If not, PM me and I will show you where to get it. Good luck!**

hey does mixmeister allow you to split up a set into tracks but not cut out the sound while the tracks change?
Thanks

As far as i know its impossible to cut out trax out of sets so that they sounds as originals if thats what your trying to tell.....its not possible since Mp3 is such a compressed format.....Thats why you DL trax and they are very often already mixed so they sound like crap in the start and in the end...

I should have explained better...ok..when I spin my sets my CD recorder records it as one long track..but I want to be able to indicate when the new tracks are...so I want to be able to split my sets into tracks..but I don't want the sound to ever stop.
So say I record my mix and I spin for 70 minutes I dont want it to be 1 track of 70 minutes...I want to split it up into the tracks that are mixed.
Thanks.

I take for granted that you have a CD burner here....so this is how you do it with Mixmeister:
You add the set into your mixmesiter playlist....it will be shown as 1 huge track......you can click anywhere on the track to play.....
When you found out where to cut you right click and press "Split segment at cursor" not you have 2 different trax....continue doing this....When your done....you press "Export tracks to mixed files" on the "File" menu....then you press "make 1 file for each track" or somethin like that......then whe you burn to a CD just make sure you have a "Write at once" capability on your prog...cause it means that there is no cut between the trax....
There could be one prob here thought.....mixmeister might think that (even thought you did some cuts) its 1 track.....If this happens its more complicated....that mins you have to cut them up...and then export each one of the seperately....and then improt them again...so that they have different names....get it? didnt make sense did it?
Well it was worth the try

dude
you dont need any cd cutter for that
what you do is just create a cue file
download CDRWin.. put the cue in... and then burn
and then when you play it on your stereo... it wont be one long 70 minz.. it will be seperated to tracks.. and then if you wanna put them on your PC.. get some proggie that can rip like CannaMp3
