I don't like the White Stripes, and my tastes in music vary. Trance mainly, but I used to be heavy into rock/punk/emo, so I'm well educated in that world, and from time to time still listen. (I went to Deftones last monday) But the White Stripes are one of the worst bands ever created in my opinion.

Nice Deftones are in my all time top 2 bands, along w/ Incubus. They are commin to Denver on Dec. 8th, I'm gonna have go see em again! What was their set list like?

"I’m a dance floor favorite? Great! I would say the passion that I feel for the music I buy and the honesty with how I play it. I play the records I love not the ones that simply work. I’ve never taken the easy music option (which would make me a lot more money by the way) but chosen to push people a little. I try to draw people in a new direction slightly and expand their taste a little more than other DJ’s." - Lee Burridge

Ya know whats funny...

Jack White, from the white stripes, was like number 20 or something, of the greatest guitarists of all time.

Rolling stone magazine.. dont know fer sure what position he was.. i didnt read or see that article..this is just from secondary source.

But i heard he was rated higher than Jimmy Page!

hmmm

discuss

besides no one's better than TOM SCHULZ!!! of Boston!!!

I really dig a lot of there stuff. I don't think Jack White is a top 20 guitarist, but he's definalty got some skills.

White Stripes only got popular because of a current trend MTV was going through with odd-sounding Rock bands. Can't for the life of me remember the other bands who were getting a lot of air time (Which proves something in itself). Either way, they all suck.
