Man, I love the breakdown @ 2 minutes and on. That lead you use is so eary. Reminds me of hard trance back in like '99. At 3:20, you pull it out of a 3/4 and straight into a 4/4. Sounds a bit off when you do that.

Maybe when you come out of the breakdown, start to build the lead as well as percussion, becasue the melody just goes for a bit too long when it gets to this point.

Also, maybe have a bit more of an ending. From a dj's point of view, that could be annoying to mix the way it just stops like that.

Also, the kick is a tad weak, but I'm use to big ass kicks, so maybe its just me.

Keep it up mate. I would go over it though before you start sending it out.

The composition is very nice, but the track lacks power over-all. The synths sound somewhat.. old or cheap - like you used all soft synths (as good as they're getting, they are still no match for hardware synths) I like the break beats in 3:00 but when it changes back to 4/4 it sounds a little odd (agreeing with cheggy) I like that TB-303 though - sounds very nice..

Am I going to add this track to my playlist? Why or Why not? Yes I am - but only a remaster that I did of it which you can if you like.. sounds much better I believe download here Again, only beef I have it the 4/4 transition at 3:17 but in a way it sounds cool.. so I'm not really sure great job none-the-less!

Good toon. Could use some more bass. I liked the transition at 3:17. I say leave it how it is.

thanks for comments, I can tell you that this is Reason 2.5 version of the song. My friend at Project md mixed a better version in studio. It has all: phat bass, better kicks and claps. Unfortunately we would not give this studio mastering stuff around the web.

Yes, I agree with those synth sounds, some of they sound very Reasonish. 303 is made in Reason Malström synth.

thanks for helping out but you should not tweak other copyrighted music without permission You should ask first if you are doing anything with anyones music, this is no kindergarten

And I even cannot download it to listen

Thanks for your point of views

Both actually - I do most of my mastering in the mixing/producing stage.. that's where I adjust all the levels, add Fx, Eq, etc etc... after my mix is done I use a paragraphic eq to cut all frequencies above 17,000hz (adds clarity to the higher notes - allows them to breath more since you can't really hear above 17,000hz) then I use a limiter to ruduce the short high peaks in the track... the Db level I use in the limiter varies depending on the track.. then with all peaks reduced to say 4Db (I think I used 6db when I did yours) I use a compressor or normalizer to maxamize the levels... this is all done in Sonic Foundry: Sound Forge.. (It's owned by sony now) but I highly recommend their software..

A thing about the title, maybe you wanne change it, a Milk Inc nr1 hit was called Sleepwalker, it was top 5 in belgium, dunno about holland and other countries near us, but they pretty popular all around here.

This sounds interesting, I had problems with high db peaks, mostly with big crash plate positions or build ups and breaks. We use Cool Edit 2 in Project MD and I think that is also very good soft
