That was a by far the strangest thing I have seen somebody post/do on forums. I wonder whats up with him.

I talked to him a lot during the summer on the ta hub, just when i wasnt doing anything else, and he really didnt seem like the sort of person who would fake his suicide instead of leaving a board or anything crazy like that.

what disturbs me is this stuation in general. i think even though we have our fair share of posers here, most of us would care to some degree if something happened to our fellow tas. but for the most part, we dont have any real connections to each other. so if there was a real suicide warning, and we didnt doubt that, what would we be able to do about it to help that person?

I agree. And we wouldn't know if it actually happened or not. This situation is very sad. I don't know him, but I hope he made the right decision.

All you can do is talk to them, and give them as much support as hunanly possible.
