Hi, a friend of mine took some pics and wants to post them on TA, he has uploaded them to Geocities and they ARE there, because I can access them by just type the url into the address bar, but when he went to put the links into his thread they don't work, when the new window opens he just has this message from yahoo saying that the image is unavailable, he put the url into the thread just fine, but its like Geocities will not allow hyperlinking of some sort, if somebody could help with this, ut would be much appreciated, thanks.

you answered your own question- Geocities does not allow direct linking. Same goes with yahoo, msn, etc.

Try this site if you want to link to an image.

rename the images to .txt
