I can almost bet my life on it that it was chicane - offshore...I know my chicane....
The only doubt I have is that some say it was 4 Clubbers - Children...but it had Offshore writen all over it..
Is there a new Remix of this track?
Chicane - Offshore??
thanks

I am 100 % sure that you are talking about the new trance bootleg of Offshore.
Icecream Man - Onshore And Gielen played the Screwball Mix! Dont think he would use the relaxed sounding Break the Ice Mix.

I only have the Break the Ice mix, but so far I'm not overly impressed.
I love chilled music, and I love Chicane, and to me this is just about as close to a blatant rip as you can get.
The remix adds very little to a modern trance classic, and just feels like a retread to me...I still much prefer the Bee Hunter Millennium Celebration and the Disco Citizens versions to this unofficial third party attempt at redoing a classic...
Edit:
Just got the Screwball Mix, and I'm starting to see why people like these new mixes more, the Screwball adds just enough elements to make the song stand out from the original mix. It still relies a lot on the original, but this is much better than the Break the Ice mix...

The Screwball/Break The Ice Mixes can't top Chicane's Original Mix, Disco Citizens Remix or A Man Called Adam Remix for me. Don't like Anthony Pappa's Bootleg Mix either (Chicane - Offshore (Disco Citizens Remix) & Power Circle - A Little Love A Little Life) which is known as Offshore '97.
The new mixes just don't add anything new and interesting to the tune. Quite average imo. But Luke Chable Mix sounds promising, i like his productions & remixes.

I actually like them. Got the white label a bit ago. Screwball mix is wicked, nicely produced and adds some more power to the still fantastic disco citizens remix. The break the ice mix, nice though it is, needs to have the production tightened a little bit IMO, but mixes very nicely into the screwball mix if done carefully <-------- I used my copy and a mates white label to do it.
