Anyone who wants to share with us their Thanksgiving. Success or failure? I'll start...
The family decided to eat out at a nice restaurant this year. Made a couple of difficult decisions easy. No bickering whose house to eat at and what would be on the menu. Since, I'm responsible for the cooking, I was relieved of the stress and mess. Overall, give it a thumbs up.

i played tackle football with my friends from 9-noon. 9 on 9 with a line and everything.
then got home and vegged by a roaring fire.
then ate then watched Payback
then slept for 5 hours and woke up at 3:30 for work.
so the actual DAY was fine, but the shadow of the shitty 4:30am-2:30pm shift I had kinda ruined it. ALl in all it was good. Usually there is at least 1 dramatic instance at my family gatherings, but the worst thing that happened is my Uncle farted when someone hugged him

I cooked a ham, some mashed potatoes, some Stove Top, and a pkg of brown n' serve rolls for myself. Served it with some jellied cranberry sauce and some olives. I must say it was pretty good. I tend to do the reclusive thing every other year or so on Thanksgiving and it works out fairly well.
Got 12 loads of laundry done so I now have clean everything. I usually end up doing one load when I need something the next day..now I am a week+ ahead.

thanksgiving was real nice me and my dad watched some football and then we went to my cousins for dinner. It was fun because most of my family was there, plus there was great food. Oh and pie, lots of pie. I love pie.

Woke up around 3 4 pm ...
Missed the family get together ...
My sister and her husband stopped by my house around 6 or so and she looked so pissed off and I'm trying to explain to her what happened and she didn't really care and I was kinda busy cooking food when she walked in .... they sat down for two minutes then she stands up and says " I don't even know what I'm doing here "and she left ... her husband telling me " dont worry about " cause she can be a bitch like that sometimes
she tried calling a couple times later that evening but I never picked up or called her back.
double thumbs up IT ROCKED !

I had dinner with my father's side of the family at my aunt's house. I was talking to my aunt about my decision this week to switch colleges. Later on during dinner she slipped and asked me how many students go to Clarke College and when I would be starting Spring semester so I could visit her. Well my father goes, "what? Clarke? College? Spring?" and then the whole family got into the discussion about me switching colleges. I just drank more red wine and tried to backup my decision.
