there's the Destiny/TR party.. and then i'm sure every club in TO will prolly have their own intimate headliner night thing like they always do ..
Guv never seems to get any international headliners for NYE ..

Last year was Max Graham.
I find the rest of the clubs in town to be lacking a decent headliner so far.
I heard over the weekend that System is doing a Resident Night which sucks considering the ammount of Progressive/House talent out there. Not to take anything away from our residents but I mean we can pay $10 to see them any other night. Why would I pay $50, just cause it's New Years????
Seriously considering the TR Party as of now even though I am not up on my Trance as of late. At least it will be something new for me.

Are the clubs asleep? Not even one god damn headliner!? Some shit bar could just bring in practically ANYONE and it would be rammed.
It's gonna be a slow new years, unless I'm in the UK.

yeah i do remember them bringing in Max ..
i think the TO club promoters tend to know that most Torontonians seem to leave the city for NYE or end up staying home. i know that i myself might be out of town, but not forsure yet. besides, i'm sure that booking costs for NYE must be pretty hefty as well ..

Props to Destiny and TR for having the balls to put something on.
No shit the DJ payrolls are expensive on NYE, it's effin NYE! That's the whole point. Yet clubs charge 5x more at the door. It wouldn't surprise me if the big boys got together and all mutually decided to do nothing.
It would of been wicked to see someone like Nick Warren, or Zabiela play the KH. I dunno, something fresh. Just my two cents.

its cause clubs know their parties will be packed regardless of headliner or not...
torontonians might leave but a SHITLOAD of tourists from america/other parts of canada come here...
why would guv pay an insane amount of $$$ for a dj when it will be rammed with just mark o playing there...

Howells is in LA as well.
I too would have liked to see someone at the Kool Haus. Nick Warren would have been sweet or another old schooler come in and throw down a classic set.... Oh well still another month.
You can bet who ever brings in someone decent the venue will be packed.

That's just it. Supply and demand. BUT Guv would step up if they had competition. Which they don't. Because all the clubs effin got together and decided to keep it quiet. LOL I swear those fuxors do it.
