What genre are the Dust Brothers?

I've only been listening heavily to trance/techno for a year or two, so I am still quite confused on the different classifications of electonic music. I'm trying to figure out what kind of music the Dust Brothers are (specifically the song "Finding the bomb" on the Fight Club soundtrack)... any help? Also, any recommendations on Hard Trance artists? Someone like a cross of the synth sounds of Blutionium Boy with the progressions and layers of Marc Dawn?

FYI, the Dust Brothers who did the Fight Club soundtrack are not Chemical Brothers... The Chems started initially as the Dust Brothers but they had to change their name after the US production team Dust Brothers threathned them with a legal action...

Yup, what Kinde said.

The US Dust Brothers are pretty versatile... they are well known for their mastery of sampling, having worked alongside such notables as Beastie Boys I believe and Beck, among others like Hanson. (It is partially because of the sampling that Tom and Ed of "Block Rockin' Beats" fame wanted to pay respect to them.) The Fight Club soundtrack is hip-hop influenced but has a mix of other stuff in there. You might want to look at allmusic.com , there's a bio and more info there. Cheers.

The Chemical Brothers named themselves The Dust Brothers in tribute to the real Dust Brothers, but changed names around 1995.
