when did money come before quality for Destiny?

i feel totally jewed out.

I was there early Friday 8:00pm standing in line ->..-> till 5:00 AM Saturday while being eaten alive by mosquitoes, surrounded by a crowd of 5000 ppl, and I mean TIGHTLY squeezed with all my shit like > sleepin bags, tent, backpack, etc.. I missed the whole night along with 3000 of other ppl, basically all went to shit.
The parking was 30 minutes away from the location of the party. You had to walk it, WITH ALL YOUR EQUIPMENT in the fuckin hot sun. I'm still tired from carrying my fucking tent. I don't give a shit what the court bla bla bla ruling did, all i know is I payed for 2 nights and 3 days of pure party but i got shit slapped in my face.
The line itself, had turned ugly, people yelling at each other, at the security, some ppl just said fuck it .. and got high right there infront of the cops. The thing that pissed me off the most is that the security was saying it was because we were late for the event. FUCK OFF.

If you were not there in the lineup on friday night and you disagree with me, just do us the favour of shut the fuck up cuz you are wrong. I've never experienced anything like that in my whole entire life. The treatment was that of a concentration camp leading to the gas chamber. You were a piece of meat in a blender going into that fuckin area, which was horrible for dancing, ground was so unflat.. It rained but that was the good part of the whole fuckin weekend.

The rest of the days I was high and recovering from the fuckin horrible energy drain that happened friday. I could not get into the mood of things. Although some DJs threw together some sweet trance sets.

Although it seems like I'm pissed about the money, im not. I'm mad about the treatment/quality of the whole event not to mention a waste of my time, in which i could of been fucked at a club rather than standing sweaty in a lineup full of people while scratching the 4th mosquito bite that minute while holding the tent, sleepin bags and other shit in the night while listening to some kid talk shit.

Destiny is on my badlist from now on.

I'm off to sleep.

BTW: the whole lineup thing was hell and the description I gave DOES NOT EVEN come close.

It got to the point were my girl friend would of had to throw out her birth control and her gravol? hahah What the fuck is this? Vietnam? Right when the rumors started about it the gates being shut, I was like fuck this. Someone was like I'll give 150 for two of your ticks, and since I bought them early bird, I figured I might as well. So I sold them, and started walking back. hahahahah Got a hotel room, and went to Canada's Wonderland the next day. I got the fuck out of there when I could.

and the fact that you could chill in your own tent was awesome
the main thing was... THE FUCKING SHUTTLE BUSES...
2 FUCKING HOUR INTERVALS..... even more.....
the police took charge of what Desinty was supposed to do...

Destiny is fucked already..
Os/2 and alot of others down the list already resigned to avoid being arrested or something, heard that from a promoter there..
Overall.. Music was 7/10..
Jungle stage was cool.
Hardcore stage was bouncy and nice.
Didn't care that much about the others..
o well..
i didn't get to see any other TA's though lol

I watched the news on Friday or Saturday i think and they were mentioning how there was no water to drink aswell as the 10 hour line up!!! I glad i wasn't there or should i say that none of my fav dj's were there!! If they were then i would be one of the many stuck in the line up!

still overall i do not regret going
just the very thought of 8000 ppl partying along..
and the trance stage...
omg it was just like a gatecrasher party in the UK!

its just the shuttle bus that pissed me off

For me it wasn't that bad, 1.5 hour drive from toronto,
but the people that were infront that we met were from Michigan,
North Carolina, New York, planned this event a year in advance.
For them the feeling of hearing " Party Is Cancelled " must of fuckin sucked. Lot of angry faces, imagine driving for 2 days to get to a party that you have to wait 12 hours in line for. The crowd was happening thou, lots of people, but a lot of things promised didn't come through. Happy Hardcore tent/The Surprise/Showers/Live Percussion/and a many DJs.

Trance stage was really nice, the lights oh yea.. sweet setup, my drugs wore off at 3am and when the Fleming kicked his set off and the lights flashed I was flying on a natural feeling. I also enjoyed the live performance by Nostrum. Really well done.

The place became a total wasteland, hehe there was no garbage to throw shit in around the camp places so you just throw it on the grass. 2nd night, there was so many waterbottles all over the ground, people were falling over. Hire someone and clean that up. From what I heard bout wemf2000 - it owned 2001.. by the time I was leaving sunday afternoon I saw a sign a person made.. it said " WEMF 2001 SUCKED" a lot of people were low on energy because of the drive there and the wait.. the thing is that whoever came up saturday enjoyed themselves a lot more than the people with the 3 day pass..

I don't believe that... OS/2 practically IS destiny...and besides..resigning AFTER an event is already planned/staged means nothing - you're still responsible for actions/events that were arranged while you were a part of the organization

AS far as O know a like 23 or 28 year old guy was in charge of the whole thing and OS/2 did have to leave. LOL!!! No time for the whole story. When I get there it wasin't bad (saturday at like 5) our shuttle bus driver was really bad, got lost so many times took us like 4 - 4 1/2 hours to get there. When they searched my bag they hucked my wakeups, understandable, and they hucked my Tic Tac's? WTF?!?!?!?! Tic Tac's!?!?!!?! All in all it was a good party with a good vibe. But also terible organization. That became very evident when the first shuttle bus showed up at like 10:30 - 11:00 I can't even remember. Fuk destiny planned that for shit.
