Fruity Loops 3 Tutorials?

I am a total newbie to music production, but managed to acquire Fruity Loops 3. This stuff looks insanely complicated, but I am dedicated to trying to produce something. Does anyone know any Fruity Loops 3 tutorials that goes over the basics of music production and guides you through making a simple melodic track? I think that would be the easiest way to learn...

i have something that may help

I have a comprehensive manual, but its for version 2.72. Many things are the same, I think the only difference is the piano roll and some generators.

It details what EVERYTHING does, from the generators to the sequencer, and all the knobs and stuff. Email me here if you want it, I'll be glad to pass it along.

Hello! Easy

I just can't figure out one thing on fruity loops. Say I made a good beat and everything. How do I record the loops you make onto mp3 or wave format?

Be Cool! Thank the good Lord I'm so curious

.....when you record.....you have to push record and play ( in 'song' mode )
'pat'(tern) mode is for configuring and testing out the right sounds
Loading up a sample: to the left is the menu
or go to ADD CHANNEL/ SAMPLE
click on SET, go to the menu on the left, choose a sample, right click and it will be ready for a pattern.......left click on the pattern name ( where it used to say 'SET' ) and then right click and go to piano roll......

try that..........

and pm if you have any other questions
I am also still trying to figure this thing out.....

Oh.......go to the menu on the left.....fruityloopfiles/coolstuff/DjDeft-Alpha 1 and right click and push play

when you go to save as.....click the little arrow pointing down beside the name of the file......and save it under .wav or .mp3

To Export to wave or mp3 is easy . When you song is finished , click on File , then export , now you will have the option to export to a mp3 file or wav file .
