Tranceaddict Revolutions Volume 1

**Official Thread**

i think that all the veteran producers on the board should commit to making 1 complete 192kps track solely for publication on TA to show their commitment and love to the site

i for one am willing to make a decent trance tune and make it available to everyone on here

i hereby nominate the following to make a track and post a 192:

1. Haak
2. Endre
3. Bren F
4. Lightworks
5. Echano (another one please :P)
6. State of Matter
7. Luke Terry
8. MKS
9. DJ Sean
10. Emota

any more nominations are welcome.
when we get the final 10-15 tracks, we can burn all full quality mp3s to a CDR and ship out to some DJs/Labels

TRANCEADDICT REVOLUTIONS VOLUME 1

I can give it a shot even though I seem to be drifting away from trance atm.

Uhh, veteran?

Great idea, aside from the veterain point

Perhaps there might be a better way to decide who is involved, as there are other amazing producers around other than the ones you mentioned.

i agree with arctic... i know that there is a lot of good producers out there that people just don't know about...

Also, I think by having a select few people put on the "spotlight" will also discourage other producers and make them feel outcast in a sense because it feels like there is a certain "group" of elite producers that have their own world while everyone else is below... i feel that this board should be more of a community that doesn't exclude anyone instead of an elitism contest

I personally think that the producers mentioned above defintely deserve much more spotlight than me for example... they all have come out with quality tracks and contributed to this board a lot... A lot of them have quality tracks that amaze me by the brilliance and quality of the work

so my recommendation for this is... open the contest out to everyone... give everyone a chance... these guys surely are among the top producers on this board... but there are may others that just do not get the exposure they deserve... besides, if others manage to come up with an even better track than these guys, hey.. then they should deserve the spotlight right??

just my 2 cents

It took me three months to get from 'Feels like Flying' to 'Nothing to Live For' and you want another track?! I'm a lazy de-motivated bastard! It could take a year for the next one!

Anyway, I partly agree that if this thing goes ahead it should be open to more people than just the more recognised producers - the track should always be more important than the name. But that said, the more popular producers have reached their status in this community through continual hard work, improvement and talent, and if the new producers are dedicated enough then they will enjoy the same status in time.

A bit random, but that's my thoughts.

Of course, I don't class myself as good in any way, just to maintain my usual self-deprecating behaviour. j/k

of course this competition is open to everyone! i just wrote down the names that came into my head when i think of good tracks i got from TA

see the problem is theres a large different between good and average, and if we are to compile tranceaddict revolutions it must be excellent with no average tracks...

so for those people who didnt get a mention, go make an excellent track and include yourself in the top list of TA producers!

if you read the first post i leave it open to people to post nominations of who they want to hear tracks from. a CDR will hold about 50-60 tracks anyways

Arctic: Im new to the boards (relatively) but not new to producing

I'd be up for it, no doubt. Some of the people you mentioned (myself included) would have to use different aliases though, depending on the labels you send the cd too.

Question: Would it be a mix cd or a cd with all full tracks.

a CD of full tracks is always more appealing to a label
