Ponting is one of the best fielders in the world. All batsmen are given a 2nd chance from time to time, and a good batsmen will make you pay for letting them off.
Australia didnt play bad, the Indians just played extremley well, as much as I dislike the result, full credit to the curry boys for knocking off the top team in the world. Now we have some decent compettion from the sub-continet, and a great summer of cricket on our hands.

Agreed, just look at how good Ponting's fielding is in one dayers, he's the best in the world.
India always have a good chance of worrying us, mainly because they have such an amazing batting lineup.

Yeah, but Ponting dropped Dravid twice in the first innings and again in the second innings. Had those catches stuck like they usually do, as I said this Test could have been very very different.
Looking forward to a couple of ripsnorter Test matches in Melbourne and Sydney
