Help... speaker cable recomendation... electrician help?

Ok I just got my new set of Klipsch Pro Media Ultra 5.1 surround speakers, and the rear speaker wires are not long enough, now I dont want to kill the quality of the speakers by cutting the wire and extending it (im not even sure if that does, so correct me if im wrong) so I am here to ask for advice.

Here are the wire specifications and some info:

VOLTAGE:
120 volt

EXPORT VOLTAGE:
230 volt under development

WIRE GAUGE ACCOMODATED:
18 gauge supplied

BTW.. in the manual for the speaker wires it describes it as "tinned wire leads"... whatever that means...

But lets say I buy a whole new set of wires for the 2 back speakers that are totally different than the ones that came with it, will it matter that the front set of speakers use a different wire..... cause I have no idea what kind to buy, or what quality/type I should be looking for, so somebody who knows what's going on... plz help!..

Should I save the money and just cut the wire and extend it... or just buy a whole new solid set...cause i dont want to spend extra if the quality will stay the same if I just cut and extend...
THX!

If a wire is tinned it means its had a thin coat of solder put on the end afaik. My dad is an electronics expert and i think he told me that before.

It doesnt really matter if theyre the same or not. As long as the replacement wire is decent its ok.

Just replace the short wires with similar 1s (same type of metal).

Just make sure that each channel on the front speakers has the same length of wire.

im an electrician...

get some 1.5mm2 flex cut to length and use that. just make sure both cables are the same length or one speaker will be quieter than the other one.
