If you are using Winamp 2 you can download a plugin where you can alter the tempo. I forget what it's called but if you search on the winamp 2 plugins page and type 'tempo' you will find it. It's less than a megabite and very simple to use.

there so many...!if u search for plugings about pitching u may find thousands!i really like one which is called Atomix (or something like that)

..Well it's one of the first plugins that comes up anyway :P

too bad itunes doesnt have a plug-in for pitch changing. hopefully a later version will have that option

I use an older little program called Goldwave, version 4.19 to be exact. It has a playback speed option. You can then resave the song at the slower or faster rate that you like. I use this to make really fast 150BPM+ mixes for the gym.
