Melodicly this is nice, it lacks that pro edge it would need to get signed. There are some nice whispy pads , and the progressions are really nice. If you rework this using some new sound this could be a big tunie!!!

To my ears, the hi-hats are clashing with the top end of the bassdrum. It's that lack of cut through more than anything I think which is preventing this tune from going up that extra notch. Seems to me a lot is focused on the mid-range. Y'know, like the pad and the pluck-style lead, they seem to occupy the same space.
Perhaps maybe whack the pad in the background more via reverb, look at your EQ. That's all I can think. Bass sound is a bit bright.
Sorry if I sound like dude from Pop Idol.
Bassdrum is deffo key - I don't know if you know this one, but I read it once and it helps me no end:
1) Solo your bassdrum and put a parametric EQ (the one with about 6 sliders and Q, much more precise than the other) on it and locate the key 'pop' and key 'thud' - don't use too much Q but again not too little.
2) Cut the gain on both of these frequencies and put that EQ module on a router bus
3) Send all your other instruments through that bus - voila the kick pushes through where it needs to!!
You need to play with it a bit after that to make sure it still sounds right but it's a good start.
Similar with the bass, but make sure that and the bassdrum are both sitting right with each other. Once you get these sorted out you can then proportion everything else out properly.
Really like the piano, reminds me of a blutonium tune I heard ages ago. But the pluck lead kind of detracts from the piano.
Hope that's of some use, sorry if a bit negative.

Icewind, some people might not appreciate you spamming your track in their thread. Please move the link to your signature atleast.
When the track first starts, im not to fond of the high bass pattern, its kinda too jumpy for me, should flow a little better. It sounds ok with the other bassline though. The synth that comes in at 0:33 is kind of annoying to me.
Bass change sounds really nice. I love those pads. Reminds me a lot of a track i did a while ago, has a real summery type feel to it.
The synths used for the main section could sound a little better, right now they sound very softsynthy, like a Subtractor patch not worked on enough.
Stil like the melody though, good work on that. It has potential to be great. When everything comes down it sounds fantastic, but the synths still need that full sound.
The hi hats also I think are drowning the mix in too many highs. Maybe filter them or try some different samples.
Not a very original track, but a relatively well produced one. 8/10.
