the reason there are so many remixes are that different labels in different countries are commisioning more to have somethign uique about their release in order to pull an extra sale.
it is not intended for everyone to buy every countries release, but with the age of the internet and global record stores etc, we all find out about the mixes etc etc. (see nebula's additional 'attention deficit' remixes of armins yet anotehr day in the UK as an example)
the 2 biggest trance countries (as i will call them) commisioned 1 unique mix each... (armind in holland has the perry oneil mix, positiva in the UK has the above & beyond mix) which are exclusive to each label.
more labels across the world may do the same but its unlikely due to smaller budgets on smaller labels and the fact, after so many remixes theres not much more someone can do witha track (see cafe del mar for a classic example).
So now i guess we've got (not inc radio edits)...

notice how all the release remixes have a 'title' for the remix aswell (dynaglide, universal religion, sweeping strings, coldharbour, chillout), i don't think this is a coincidence some how, so maybe we can expect a title for the PO mix aswell?!  just a thought!
