Im going away in june for a few weeks in the sun, i want to take my trance tracks with me. ive been looking at prices and i think for a 128mb MP3 Player i think there around £100 which can hold prob 30 tracks right ? I like mp3 players are there small and compact and not heavy esp the Sony MuVo, but Mini Disk players are quite small but more expensive, im confused on what to buy. Am i correct in saying that i can plug my mini disk recorder intwo my pc speakers and record a set ? or do you need to use a proper sound system ?

Get a cd mp3 player, Cheaper than a plain mp3 player (plus can hold more than just a measely 30 tracks). Battery life on mine is 8 hours or so plus has anti skip (doesn't skip at all). I still have about 6 hours of PvD on a rewritable cd...it's great. If I ever want to listen to something else I just burn a new cd with mp3's on it. (plus it can play regular cd's and IS upgradable in terms of if new hardware or file types come out other than mp3 so it can play those as well. Plus it won't crash or die because it is a "mini hard drive" as everything's on cd.

^^ ipods are nice, my dad got one. you can hold tons of songs on em, asign songs to play lists, and adjust equallizer settings. if you cant afford one of those then buy a mp3 cd player
