Before he set his mind to producing his own tracks Perry was already active as a dj for several years. In a short period of time Perry developed his own sound and this was picked up by dj's Like Jon O'Bir (Godskitchen), Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz (Globaldjbroadcast, armada) and Ben Lost (Hooj Choons) to name just a few. During this period Armada Music took Perry under its wings.
Armada has planned the first Perry O'Neil 12 inch for release on the progressive Electronic Elements label. Perry produced his first two tracks "Kubik" and "breaking away". These tracks got a warm welcome from dj's such as, Armin van buuren, Thrillseekers, Markus Schulz, jon O'Bir and mat hardwick. perry is also working on some collaboriations and remixes including one for markus schulz. more info about this will be available soon.
Perry has also been using the alias "Locust" for several projects which have a Trancy edge. Perry's collaboration with St. John (Uk) is set to be released on Armada's "A State of Trance" label. PErry has also remixed this track into a progressive version, which has been played by the usual suspects already. Under this guise More forthcoming releases include a collaboration with Robert Nickson, Jon O'Bir and Darren Singleton (Emotion) called Jon O'Bir Vs. Mitosis – Air Flow. Perry also remixed a forthcoming tune from Hemstock & Jennings.
Perry's productions under his own name are reflecting the style of his dj sets. his performance at the first armada night went down really well. you can expect some dj mixes in the future too which will be available thru this website.
