Just wondering if any of you mix any other types of music like hip hop. If so do you beat match also. When I listen to hip hop mixes it seems like they just switch quickly from one song to the next. I rarely hear 2 songs playing at the same time. So is mixing hip hop totally different than mixing trance...just curious.

I dont spin hip hop..but I have heard others. And from what Ive heard..they dont beat match much. I guess track selection is more important. Cuz i bet if u pitch a hip hop record up, itll sound really weird!

my friend dave spins hip-hop. I find i have learned much from him including scratching and stuff. Even tho i don't like hip hop much.

i spin hip hop a bit, i beat mix but the mix's dont last 4 long and u gotta have a BPM count on your music, cos if u dont u can get really fucked up.. u ever tried mixing it? with trance u can get anything to mix together pretty much, but hip hop is more touchy and u put pitch up alot vocals sound like chipmunks n stuff, but Trance rocks no doubt, kicks ass...

I find some Hip Hop sound OK....but most of it suck very bad !!! If ur a tranceaddict and u have a good feeling about hip hop try listening to "CLUB" like Baltimore Club...Don't ask...Baltimore ppl made up a Genre :PPP Sounds good actually !!! Download the 69 song !!!
