Hi All! As I'm sure you figured out by the title, I'm heading south this spring for WMC. I've never been to Miami before so don't really know how the layout is.

I'm considering staying @ the Wyndham hotel (where the WMC is - 4833 Collins Avenue) just because it would be easy. Is this hotel w/in reasonable distance to where all the action will be outside of the WMC itself (Ultra, beaches, clubs etc.)

I'm not set on the hotel, so any other options would be great =)

Tip: Book Hotels ASAP!!! They are raising prices like crazy and are been booked.. some are allready fully booked allready. So look fast.

Another tip... be sure to check the prices by calling up the hotel and checking online (if they are available). Often times hotels will charge different rates over the phone than online. I reserved a hotel room at the Riande Continental for one night on the 6th (I'm only hopping over to Miami for Ultra 6 -- Not enough time for the full WMC). When I checked online, I could get a room for $90 a night. When I called them up, they told me it was $149 a night. I decided to just reserve it online and let them deal with the problem if it was a matter of not updating their web site in a timely manner

Tip- dont stay there, its tooo far. stay in south beach where the events are happening which are between 23rd street and on (like till 1st street on collins and washington.)

Definitely book online as opposed to calling hotels.com or hotels.net usually work for me
