thanks man! i appreciate it.
what do you use for mixes? i tried mixmeister or dj studio but don't like them. everything seems so automatic. like you just load a playlist, it beatmatches and crossfades for you, you add some effects, and there's a mix. i'm not a fan of that. in cooledit, everything is manual. to crossfade, i gotta lower the amplitude over that period of time and all that. its much harder, but makes it more interesting and gives me MUCH more control.
obviously my ideal would be to spin vinyl and record it on the comp, but i have neitehr tables nor vinyl, just mp3's. and more importantly, very little money, so tables and CD-players are out!

My setup is :
2 Black Technic's MK5's (Just got rid of my mk2's, not much of a difference, except price and they look neat!)
1 Pioneer Pro Dj Mixer 600
1 Denon S-5000 Cd Player (Sick, enjoy it alot more than the pioneer 1000's. Can be upgraded by downloading stuff on the computer. Plays mp3's, and can play two tracks from the same cd and can mix them!)
im going to give it a listen when my room mates wake the fuck up.

I agree with the above post that this isn;t really a "mix".
All of the fade-outs and fade-ins really ruin the "mix"... and I didn't notice many transitions becuz of all the fade outs.... i honestly didn't really listen to the whole mix even.. Kinda got bored..
The tracklist is ok, if i was into that style of muzik more.. It just didn't do much for me..
