The anticipation for this game was so great that Polyphony decided to release a demo (Prologue) for Gran Turismo 4.

Normally, I have low expectation of everything (harder to get disappointed, more enjoyment when something turns out to be good), but it's so hard to not expect amazing goodness from GT4.

Look at the graphics! It looks so wicked.

Well, there was talk of it coming to the US because they keep pushing back the release date of GT4. They could at least bring Prologue as a demo to the states to put in store displays.

as much as i love GT, i don't there will be any major game play changes that will set this GT apart from GT3. graphically it's superb...but i bet the AI hasn't progressed much...i guess i can hope for mod parts, but i don't that will happen.

Ya see, thats the beauty of it, they HAVE changed the AI. Unlike the other versions of GT, where the AI got the least attention, GT4's AI was one of Polyphony's top priorities to improve upon. But, if it doesnt satisfy, there is always the online multiplayer that is coming with it as well. Trust me marc, it will rule both your world and mine too.

i heard they still havent touched the AI

which is pretty fucking lame since it has needed tweaking since GT2...looks good tho|
