have to disagree with you Mr. Mystery (& i normally dont), but Mike Skinner although not dance as you think of it in the first sense, makes damn fine tunes which reflect the urban soundscape and youth in the UK's cities rather accurately.

^^^^^These two tracks are vastly superior to a vast majority of trance drivel that gets a release (and i dont just mean mainstream stuff). Mike Skinner is a skilled producer and evidently a fantastic lyricist. He successfully bridged the UK Dance, Garage and Indie genres when this album came out to much acclaim. Although ill admit the album does take repeat listening to appreciate it fully, but now im a firm advocate of The Streets music.
Not sure how the second album is going to turn out though, i remain sceptical.
But i dont really have much idea what steve neil is on about either.
