Nice percussion in the intro. The master eq is kind of lacking in sub bass though.
The pad coming in at 1:48 sounds nice but needs some eq on the mids and lows to take some of the mud out of it.
When everything comes back down, the lead is way too quiet, loses a lot of its power. I'd suggest maybe some more hi hat patterns to drive it a bit more.
Overall its got a nice sound, just need to work on the eq and levels of your instruments.

I agree with SoM on this one. The primary thing that stands out is they way you have your levels on respective instruments.
Probably the most noticable from the start is the clap. While it has a nice sound it's too loud.
Not convinced about some of the sounds you have in there but that's more a question of taste and as everyone knows mine is a little on the weird side.
One thing I did like (probably because I do it too) is the way you brought the tune back in after the first break down... with a good punch. As a DJ I see that working week in week out. People just go mental on the dancefloor to that if it's played at the right time.
To start, the punch is really nice and there - the kick has a very powerful pro feel to it. The levels at first IMO start right, nice clicks. The clap is nice but indeed louder/takes up more
That bass is missing something. It just seems to be on too small a level. That first synth voice seems to cross it and the next one clashes a bit with it. When the bass changes it doesn't seem to be noticable and the first synth is taking up frequency the bass should be I think.
Like the low pad that's coming in, very promising. Arpeggiated sound is kind of high but promising. I'm not too sure about that "whauw" noise,(but I didn't like Kansai - Rococco's lead when I first heard it either)
It just seems all the instruments are playing good things but clashing with each other so it's hard to make stuff out. I'm wanting that stacatto rhythm to be more pronounced but the background stuff is just washing it out a bit for me I'm afraid.
I do like the clarity of the hi-hats.
Like this at 5:33 (though that long held note is doing my ears a bit) and the build back is getting good. Again, can't really hear the bass too well (PLEASE change that single note!!!!!!! still there at 6:52).
This bit's good (7:06 (but that note still there )). Real nice scrunch-your-face feeling to it. You are deffo on the right lines with this build-up.
Good stuff!

Thanks for all the feedback guys.
Have been playing around with it since, and have changed it quite a lot, pad & melody included.
