What's the venue for Cream like?

Hi everyone,

I've been a silent observer for a while, this is my first post in
this forum. I'm from Ottawa and go to Montreal to party whenever a good trance DJ hits town because they always skip Ottawa and usually hit Sona and the 514 production parties (8

Anyhow, how is Jarry park as a venue? I skipped on Freaky last Hallo and heard the sound was horrible, can't be worst than Cream last year though. How is the heat? (Cream again sucked for that last year, it was a real sauna in the basement..) And how are the lineups at the washroom? (Swirl at UQAM was horrible for that). Is there alot of sitting room to chill out? I'm the dance like crazy for 30 minutes sit down for 30 minutes type. Bottom line is that i had the worst time at Cream last year because it was impossible to get a comfort zone rolling, no place to sit (besides tires) and no place to cool off..I wish 514 used the Molson Center for every event, there is no better venue in the world (8

Also, Atomic in Ottawa is welcoming Sandra Collins on Aug 18th, not a bad show for you Montrealers to come and check out

I appreciate any feedback

coool... I'm from Ottawa too! I've been askin around about Jarry Parc too since I've never been there b4, and I heard that the sound is really loud and that there's not much of a sitting area... ? Otherwise, ppl have said that it's a pretty good venue.

alright guys..i've been to 2 raves there..snowball = millenium...freaky = 514.....totally different setup
heres the scoop on jarry parc

sound: was fuckin loud at freaky...too many piercing highs cuz the speakers were too close together
heat: coolest raves ive ever been too..even more air than the molson centre
chill areas: not like the molson centre at all..more like creamlast year where u have to find someplace to sit and hope to get something decent
bathrooms: usually many port-o-potties...not a problem..u will have to find the running water im keeping that one a secret

all in all..its the second best place ive been too..solely because always judge on the "heat" factor!...although sepsum and molson have the best chill areas

It was fucking sweet and we stayed till 11am! No lineups no heat no shit , best speakers ever! place to sit ...blablabla...
And i even enjoyed it more than Oasis in molson.

thanks for the info delstar! no chill area is not a prob for me, cuz I'll be dancin all night (hopefully) Is there more air and less heat because of better ventilation? or is the place just bigger, higher ceilings... ?
