To All Discogs Users!
Hi guys,
hope this isnt seen as advertising at all, as thats not what it is.
Just wanted to make you all aware of some changes to discogs which will interest any submitter or viewer of info there.
I have been pressing and pressing for weeks to get Hardstyle added as a genre/style to the site, and this has finally been processed for me, so anyone submitting any hardstyle vinyls to the site can now choose the genre from the drop down list, at last! instead of people choosing bloody hard house all the time.
Also, Discogs Version 2 will be launched soon, but it will only start for the hip hop genre on the site to test it, once that test has passed successfully a trance.discogs.com will be launched as well as all other genres! which is fantastic news and that will allow a much better tracklist update section and you will be able to update styles as well.
Just wanted to make you all aware of the changes, discogs is such a useful tool for any trance fan out there and I'm glad to be a part of it.
Oh yes, word of advice, avoid the music forum like the plague, its full of anti-trance biased arseholes that are under the impression that all trance is of DJ Sammy and Scooter style.
Kind Regards,
Simon (Discogs Moderator)
