Any program their own Electronic Music

i am wondering if any is into programmin their own Dance music.
If so what kind of gear / setup do you use and what software is best.
I am hoping to get some ideas for using Cubase SX etc. and see what result other have come up with.

I am currently but not with any setup. Just Acid Pro and some drum kits I have. + I use some other programs for sequenzing the midi samples I use. I mostly use loops. Of course if I could afford a MIDI controller that would all be different

I've got an Edirol PCR50 keyboard controller. I use it with Ableton Live 3.0 and Reason 2.5 (I also use Arturia Storm 2.0) -- all these programs use their ReWire technology (Live being the master). Soundcard i use is the M-Audio Audiophile 2496 (just got it -- WOW! Zero-latency and high S/N ratio). I have an Apex 430 mic, Guitar, Yamaha EX5 synth, turntables, mackie 1402 and now I get to use them all together properly thanks to that new soundcard.

Anyway, if you post in the Production forums (http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...forumid=74) they'll probably help you out too.
