just curious what you think of the technical aspects of this:
i made the kick myself and the hi hats etc using sound forge and neundo 2 i did the kicks myself etc..i always sucked at trance now im getting into making it,,thanks
most of the time i think i am a sound engineer more than a producer

It may not be orgasm inducing, but it definitely sounds decent.
Kinda sounds like happy dark trace, just by listening to it im pretty sure it has the A, G flat, F progression which has been done soooooooo many times, so guess the melody aint the most original or complex for that matter. Instruments you used are what kinda makes the dark aspect of the peice a happy tune, hehehe, pretty weird.
Guess it still sounds at the very early stage of the track.

the method i use is noise reduction, compression, and layering. also sample some kicks and make them non recognizable in the layering field. set a kick for every part of the spectrum yadda yadda. pitch bending must be in sync also

Sounds really good but I reckon this should go in more of a Prog House direction than Trance. Sort of Tomcraft type of thing.
