html etc.

How can I make 'objects' (my term, I dunno the real term) that list vertically within a table. Like say a pic in it, with words saying what it is on the other, with the whole 'object' outlined with a line or something?

I've done lots or work making this page and stuff, and currently, I'm just too lazy to think about it anymore. I need some input.

Oh yeah, and can I use DHTML for image-flipping?

btw each 'object' has to be the same width and height, regardless of the size of the thumbnail image within, etc.

btw I understand CSS to a degree. Sort of forget how I did certain stuff though...

dude ur totaly confusin me with the word object!

in computers - object == instance of a class..

change the word object in ur post to 'thing' or something!

anyways, what i think you;re trying to do is:

have a pic: then opposite have some text describing the pic?

this maybe:

code:
picture1 goes here! text referrin to pic1 goes here!
picture2 goes here! text referrin to pic2 goes here!
picture3 goes here! text referrin to pic3 goes here!

that what u want??

Well I want to stop using tables. I've heard

is better (whatever the heck that is).

Whatever, I guess I'll just use tables. If it ain't broken, don't fix it.

i hate roll-over images, but it cant be done pretty easily with javascript.

i think a bit of CSS and hover-underline stuff looks way nicer and loade far quicker..
