Is anyone else really pissed about the attitude soccer australia has taken to some players missing the friendly? if leeds can find compassion for 3+ weeks off to viduka to be with his sick father, despite facing bankruptcy and relegation, how can SA seriously punish hum for not playing a friendly? And scott chipperfield, who made all efforts to get to the game, justmissing a connecting flight, even though his wife gace birth on the weekend. They still enfore a club ban?
This is the same organisation who screwed up friendlies for how long?!? and refused to pay to even fly players home for the last oceania games, so we missed out on the confederation's cup, and the money that brings.
John oneil needs a good kick in the head, he's not playing in the backyard game that is world rugby now. the ARU pays the players the majority of their wages, not the clubs. now he's in the real world and well out of his depth.
given the behaviour of SA, i'm seriously doubting whether i want to support football in this country anymore.
sorry for the rant, back under my rock i go. |
no.1 John Oneil doesnt start his job till 9th of March.
no.2 You gotta set an example, and although dukes had a point it had to be done. Same goes with chipperfield.
