Err ok first off, define what you mean by "Easy" when you say this:

And what do you mean you could get your 10 year old neice to do it? Do you mean you could get your 10 year old niece to buy it, make love to it, mix it, scratch it up....?

Did you mean to say something along the lines of "Are there any books that will show me some good tracks to buy on vinyl?" I got that impression because later in your post you say this:

Which leads me to believe your "journey" is really just a search for a type of music that you like. If so, then I say go with the music that you love. If I'm wrong, then please correct me, as I don't have much of an idea as to what the fuck you're trying to say.
