The time flies. The time flies feed on rotting clocks.

Synths sound way too thin...adds to a corny feeling. Snares make it feel more like a march, which is kind of conflicting with the pads. Melody that starts at 1:08 is way too simple. And simple can be good, but not this simple - this just doesn't go anywhere.

Sorry dude, only got through 2 mins before I stopped it. Apologies, but that's just how it is.

Maybe some music theory would be of interest to you.
