it was a good idea - in theory, but the original version of the song isn't suited to be just speeded up like you have done, it sounds like you've just used a midi of the original synths, piano and bassline and added a 'very' minimal drum beat and speeded up the vocal.

would have been better if you had tried something a little different, like the way i did with my version of 'Wish' *blatant plug alert* that i renamed 'First Day' you can check out the very raw original version here... http://homepage.ntlworld.com/stephe...ay-original.mp3

thanks for your opinion. different tastes, I guess Honestly I think your track is repititive (there are lyrics in the song other than "this is the first day of my last days", and using "I'm the one without a soul" once doesn't really count), but I can see where you're coming from, that I didn't really add much to the piece. The original song was very minimalist, though, and I wanted to retain some of that while at the same time adding a more driving beat and increasing the speed.

anyway thanks for listening

yes, mine is repetitive, but then it is a techno track, and is to be used in a set imaginatively. Shame you don't like my track, although i'm very happy with it. Hope you're just as happy with your remix
