Lead & Sub Lead (Distorting?)

Need help on bringing my two different leads out.

They seem to be clashing.

Any ideas?

well I can't listen to it now becuase I'm at a public comp..


BUT.. have you tried eqing each of them to give them their space in the wave form?

also try varied amounts of reverb and delay..

Suppose I dip the eq on one of the leads and increase the same eq on the other?

Yeah, definitely check into the eqing. You should determine where each synth lies in the freq-spectrum. Some maybe low-mid, others may be more pronounced in the high-mid section. Lower the freq you don't want and pull up the freq's you do want.

BTW, your leads also seem to clash because they are off-key...

that may work.. as illicit said you should figure out were each lead is in frequency and then single that frequency range out for each instrument..

a good program for this is Inspecter.. google it (it's a VST spectral analyzer)
