I believe that the Centrino model has built-in wireless capability, which means you do NOT need a wireless network card. What you definitely do need is a wireless network to connect it to, i.e. a wireless router or a wireless access point (WAP).
If you're not using it for the internet, or if you already have a router, or if you have a spare IP address from your ISP, then one of these (or a similar product) is fine. Otherwise you probably want something more like this .
