conect fx on cuebase to mixer???

Hi I have cuebase vst32 5.0 and I want to conect the fx to mixer I manage to conect when I record but then it wasnīt the fx in real time I heard duble sound. I donīt know do I have good cup or sound card enough or wath. What do I have to do to manage that.
