the STR8-80 falls out of the row since it's inferior to the STR8-100
There have been lots of discussions about the ST-100 (or STR8-100, just a different tonearm). I've got the ST100 myself, and is still prefer it over the sl1200, probably a personal taste. You need to make decissions if you buy a turntable. There is a difference in price and quality.

It seems here majority of ppl love Technics so I would say technics are better.
STR (straight arm) are for scratch DJs.

The only real contender from Stanton is the ST-150.
