Did you guys hear about that little girl who was supposedly parished in that fire 6 years ago? Her mother was at a birthday party, looked at the little girl and saw a dimple she had on her cheek and she KNEW it was her daughter.. so she went up to the little girl and told her that she had gum in her hair and asked her to cut it out.. she cut a piece of her hair out.. got DNA testing and found that the little girl WAS hers.. after 6 years.. that's crazy.. it turns out that the fire was started by the baby's fathers, cousins, friend.. who wanted a little girl or something.. and it was all set up so she could steal the child.. she fled the state and left her other kids by themselves.. I think that it's great that they got her back, but it's going to be so hard for her to adjust.. what do you guys think about this story? i'm sure you've all heard about it.. I think everyone has heard about this already..

This sounds like a lie to me. You can't get DNA from the end of the hair. You need the follicle to actually get DNA so she couldn't have just cut the hair.

Definitely sounds like an urban legend. Even if it was really on the news doesn't mean much... check out snopes.com and you'll be amazed how many seeming reputable news shows grab hold of fictional anecdotes and broadcast them to millions of naïve viewers.

sounds a little too unlikely to be true..
if it is true then i think it's pretty slack that the father allowed her to go to a party that the mother was going to be attending.
then again, what are the chances of the mother going to the same b.day party as her daughter? after all she did leave the state and all that...

Yeah, as if the body would disappear in a fire. There would always be skeletorial remains.
