ok, has anyone been, can you tell me wot its like? i'm making the trip to code for the first time this friday to see picotto + jules + others, is it worth the trip from leicester?

Its a fucking wicked club code, Its very futuristic from what I remember like the interior of the club is, the dance floors a good size, they used like these weird performers when I was there doing like weird tricks with ropes, u got some nice seating areas aswell, I think theres a balcony too, one little tip I hear the bouncers can be fucking wankers sometimes especially with dress sense, I had no problem when me and my mates went, but you'll have a wicked time mate great club, great atmosphere, also the soundsystems there kicks ass I heard that they spent a lot of time creating it. and too definatly worth the trip from Leicester.

wow! what an impressive club! just got back home (straight onto the forums.. am i sad?!) anyway, yeah it was such a good nite, i seriously recommend this club! i think picotto must've turned up late or another dj didn't show up at all because the resident aj gibson did a 4 hour set! he was fuckin mega, a lot better than i expected for just a resident. picotto came on around 3 o'clock but i didn't really notice the time. he was excellent as ever! then it was jules, he was quite good actually, alot better than he was two weeks ago at crasher. best thing about it, i thought it was only open til four, the little beauties kept it open til quarter past five! an hour and a quarter extra was just wot i needed.

as for the club itself, very nice inside, a lot smaller than i expected but its a very nice layout, good atmosphere. quite a lot of ben sherman boys but none of them had attitude so i was happy! ive only got one bad thing to say about code and thats that they make the water in the toilets hot until 12 o'clock so you have to keep spending your cash at the bar buying more water until after 12 when they put it on cold. its good from their point of view though i surpose. bouncers were a bit 'in your face', thoroughly search everyone on the way in and even do spot searches when you are in the club, a bit intimidating at first but they cooled off as the night progressed.

well there's my report!
verdict: music 9/10, atmosphere 7/10, venue 8/10. overall 8/10

hehe good to see u had a good time there, see what I said about the bouncers hhaha, yeah Gibsons a good Dj he's a resident at a club in my town well a montly resident and I'm quite impressed by him, he's easily got to be one of the rising stars of trance easily, did u see Daniel soto he's a good Dj too, and GK rezzie?

like i said, i think it was just gibson, then picotto then jules. i reckon gibson ended up playing about 4 hours. someone might've been on before him but i'm not sure, i got in there about 10.30. that makes sense actually, gibson 10.30-2.30, picotto 2.30-4.00, jules 4.00-5.15

yeah he usually doe's the early sets, cos godskitchen do monthlies here in northampton and usually Gibson or Soto play first, and their fucking kick ass warm up djs.

Good choice! Why not make a weekend of it, seeing as you r gonna have to travel quite a distance, from holland right? Godskitchen on friday, gatecrasher on saturday?!
