Question Comment my new single (HELP ME TO WIN PLZ!!!!)

Soon I will particiapte to my local Radio Station's "Personal Music Compositions" contest. this will be my music.
I posted a demo here, because I know some of you are gr8 producers or music makers, I need some help to fix my errors before I release the final version for the competition. THANKS!

DOWNLOAD

Before you comment it, plz note this:

It's not the final version, not MASTERED yet, so the levels are not good, equalizer also will be better after mastering in a studio.
It's low quality ( 64 KB/sec)

I just want you to comment about the instruments I used & also the arranging or any errors...

THANKS AGAIN.

The lead synth is alright, but the beats and percussions are really weak. First off, get a better kick sample, the one you're using is so short and has pretty much no power to it. Next fatten up the bassline significantly by adding a sub-bass underneath it, and by adding some reverb/delay to the bit you have in there right now. Percussions are also pretty weak, you need a lot more layers in there and more than just a couple of little highhats. I'd also consider adding some pads and a bunch of synth effects in there to fill it up. As for the track as a whole, it's okay but a little too "standard" sounding for my likings. However, if you work on the things I suggested it could be pretty good.

Good luck with the competition.

Cool

the melodies have potential. it sounds rather fruityloopish tho, all basic samples and stuff. if you had some good samples vsts or some kit this could be pretty mint. i wouldnt mind having a play with the melody, making a quick remix if that's ok with you. it has lots of potential imo.

I agree with Luke Terry on the potential of the melody. The synths themselves don't exactly stand out as being unique or having your own personal touch, which is something that could definitely help out a lot in a competition...something to make your track stand out.

And personally, I think more percussive elements are needed, what you used just doesn't do it for me.

This tune has some great potential, you just need to work on some of your sounds, get yourself a new bass drum sample, some different hat samples.
Also to improve the sound of your leads get yourself some of the popular vst plugins.
The melody is great, I really liked the buildup part at 1:30, you made that very nicely...

Good luck with the competition, and keep on producing!
