Dj Tiesto?

I plan on buying his Cd "In My Memory" after hearing and liking the single "Traffic". Could somebody describe what kind of music that CD is?

traffic isnt on that CD. Have you heard the tunes, Urban Train, Flight 643, Obsession, Battleship grey? Those are great tunes and he's been banging out those tunes over the past 2 years.

CD is definately a good buy!

I have heard flight 634. Not really that good. Are the other tracks more melodic or more like Traffic?

Oooh....

And I thought this would be another of those Tiesto threads

On a related note, I really like Tiesto's remix of Did I dream

I can't download them on my slow connection, so I ask for the second best - descrbie the tracks! Melodic? Aggressive? Funky? Boring?

The tracks are mostly melodic trance with some downtempo, namely In My Memory, Close To You, and Battleship Grey. Flight 643 is by far the techiest selection on the album.

I would wholly recommend getting it. In My Memory is a brilliant piece of work that I doubt Tiesto will match with Just Be.

Flight 643 grows on you. Give it time. And if you haven't heard Suburban Train you need to drop everything this moment and do so.

I have noticed that, I like the freaking song more everytime I hear it. I'll buy the album. Can't be THAT bad, anyway.

in my memory is more melodic and almost progressive (basically meaning it takes longer to build and some may call it maturer). In the past year Tiesto has been playing a more tech-trance vibe with Traffic being the prime example. If you like traffic ud probably like Mark Norman productions so keeps an eye out. In my memory is a great album though id def recommend it

you should definately get the album! i have the 2cd version (2nd disc is filled with some great remixes) of it and it's the best album i've ever purchased, close second is orkidea's taika album which is brilliant too! definately get it if you like trance, you won't regret it!
