Be Cool! Static blue Vs Luuk Maes - Meening of ice (Massive Remix)192kbs

erm, i thought i couldn't make anything anymore, failed many attempts to try to make something

anyway the orignal have nice catchy lead, and i was playing with the midi, and it turned out something

i must say its a bit hard for me, i have a weak pc pent 3 866, i try to avoid simple productions but, i can't experiment alot either to make something sound flawless, though i have ideas, i'll just have to wait for a new pc soon

anyway hope it's good i know the break sux and it's cheap but had no real insparation nor a good pc :P

tnx EM for uploading!

Hiya mate

listening now..

Bass needs some delay added to it, the arps in the build up are nice. Dont really like the hat sounds you used. The pads are fairly good, the lead is not really my sorta thing, sounds odd, dunno why, just my taste.

Good anyway

Thanx for remixing Massive ! i'll have a listen just now and comment after

edit: nice work m8 ! quite a different feeling from the original track

really nice pads note but the pads could be a little "deeper".

Great work, thanX !

heya

sounds good!
the whole track can use some more fx tho, it sounds a bit dry to me.
i like the "acid" sound on top of the bassline, sounds nice
nice remix of our track

Could just be me, but I'd consider putting in some counterpoint, as the main melody just gets too repetitive. Other than that, pretty good track. Can't really comment on the bass right now, I'm using headphones cause I don't want to wake anyone.

Cool

sounding like a good interpretation of the original to me! the acid is well cool, perhaps bring it out and make it more 303ish, distortion unit could be used perhaps? the bass is nice, making a weird flangey chorus noise slighly tho, sounds ok tho. percs are good in idea, but the samples could be better. the synth sounds a bit dry but the strings seem to compensate, maybe chuck a pad in there. i like the whoosh noise fx thing fits in well with the percs. you are improving rapidly mate
