Well i had a wicked night
The production wasn't to bad i thought, the sound echoed up the back, but do people really think this is ever going to stop? Every party at homebush has that same sound problem, so i go expecting it, find a good spot on the floor and forget about it
I thought this years was WAY bigger than last years and the year before, it looked like it got a pretty decent turnout.
The lines to get in where a bit of a dissapointment
Ok now onto the sets.
FIrst up it was LUCIEN FOORT! - This guy rocked as expected, pitty i missed half his set lineing up
HYBRID - Good for first half then i lost interest, to much standing around not enough dancing. So i made off to check out the GK room for...
FERGI - OMG im so glad hybrid sucked and i went to see him He was crazy, best set of the night for me!! He really has some skillz, might not mix it like a techno DJ just yet, but he is definatley on his way. His scratching, sampling and multitude of other tricks were just amazing
PICOTTO - Not to bad, not great but he still was pretty good, first half he played the new stuff he is known for, techy stuff which was pretty good then he played his classics for the last part which were great for old times sake
TOMCRAFT - First part of his set i saw was good, but decided to check out the astrofunk room.
LAWRENCE - thought he was starting at 5:30 but he was just finishing up, his set was pretty poor but it looked like he was frustrated with BT setting up.
BT - Sorry but he just sucked, terrible stuff.
I saw a bit of green velvet and he was pretty good, but fergie stole me for that part of the night
Overall a pretty good night and i rate it better than last year. Still not as good as the first TT tho

Well another year, abother Two Tribes.
Yeh, the production this year kicked last years ass! The GK room was simply awsome for such a size room! Those lasers were the best lasers me has seen. Props to the lighting dudes in there, really created an awsome atmosphere!
Even the Astrofunk room was good, except that the visuals are crud. I stil can't see the point of visuals. No one cares anyway, all they do is add more ambient light in the room.
FOr me Lucien was the best. Tribal/Funky Progressive/Breaks, it was awsome. PLEASE SOMEONE HAS TO KNOW THE LAST TRACK HE PLAYED! THAT SONG WAS OFF THE FKN HOOK!
Hybrid started SO well, but kinda died half way through the set.
I only saw the last quarter of Fergie, but OMFG. Watching and listening to him just absolutely f**k up tracks, sample shit from anything, and bah! Made me feel so much less of a dj! He was absolutely rockin.
Picotto started well, died again in the middle like Hybrid, but i wish i saw the end! Lizard and Pulsar
Lawrence was Lawrence, that typical Tech/Prog/Trance stuff. A style of his own, was awsome.
And BT, well . . . im not even gonna try and be nice. He was crap, so we left half way through his set.
Overall a top night. Thanks to all the Syd Posse who turned out. Made the night guys!
And now, 36 hours later and no sleep, im going to bed
