i am trying to learn dutch and i could be terribly wrong but it looks like it would be pronounced "vik" or "viek"

I thought it was pronounced as "penis"

As far as my knowledge in dutch language goes, it's "vuh-eek", but the "eek" must be short.

The letter j is in many european languages pronounced like y in some english words, like say or sunday. So it would be something like viyk or viek.
