I didn't really like that song to be quite honest, I think Havannah Beach is a lot better! Could just be my musical taste...

Maybe!
I`d prefer this one by myself. I like tracks in Marc-Norman-style, but unfortunately I haven`t his (their) class, experience and equipment to be as half as good as they are.
Anyway, thank you for ya comment, Jimmy.

Thank you very much, sunquest.
I must say, I`m very surpriced and of course very happy about your opinion.
With "Stars above" you have obviously produced a gem of (flight) trance, noticed and praised by men who have to know it.
And you tell me, Bassdrive`s mastering is perfect? I really feel flattered by you.
The style of my track "Cloudwalker" is quite similar to yours. Perhaps I should dedicate it to you...

It's sure a bassdrive , however the bass is too simple for my taste.
That leading synth is abit enoying, maybe a softer synth would be better? The pad is great , love it. The clap lacks reverb if you ask me, but thats a taste matter i guess. About the kick, its to flat and i can barely hear it when everything is playing + add some perc. You got some nice ideas going on,
Cheers and keep workig on it
