I said this a while ago that dc was next. I'm not claiming to be a genius, any fool could have seen this coming. The RIAA success at obtaining ISP records has more serious implications. It won't be that difficult for the RIAA to prosecute ppl if they get access to your download logs. When will it have a noticable impact on the average user? is the only question that remains. Not good is all i can say.
edit: Anyone who uses a personal broadband connection should read their ISP agreement. You'd be surprised how few rights you are afforded. Most ISP have the right to terminate your service without notice for a multitude of reasons.
